My Approach
Systemic Coaching
An integrated approach for personal growth
Systemic coaching is an innovative and deeply layered paradigm that aims to promote individual growth and well-being through conscious analysis of internal and external dynamics.
Based on the understanding that every person is part of a larger system — such as family, social, or cultural environments — this approach seeks to recognize and rebalance both the relationships and internal conflicts that influence behavior and emotions.
To fully understand this methodology, it is helpful to explore the theories that underpin it: R. Schwarz’s Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, Antonio Blay’s “ideal self – idea self” paradigm, and the techniques for surfacing invisible loyalties proposed by Bert Hellinger.
INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (IFS): THE PARTS OF THE PSYCHE
Developed by Richard Schwartz, IFS conceives the psyche as composed of multiple “parts” or subpersonalities, each with its own needs, emotions, and beliefs. These parts can be in conflict with each other or collaborate, influencing the individual’s behavior and emotional state. In systemic coaching, the aim is to help the client identify these parts, dialogue with them, and foster a process of integration so that the “Self” can assume a role of balanced guidance
ANTONIO BLAY: CONSCIOUS PRESENCE
Antonio Blay emphasizes the importance of developing a calm, centered, and aware inner presence. This presence allows one to face daily challenges with serenity and clarity, maintaining a neutral observer state with respect to one’s mental and emotional patterns. In coaching, clients are encouraged to cultivate this presence, which becomes a fundamental tool for distinguishing automatic responses ingrained by excluded parts and making more authentic, responsible, and liberated choices from conditioning
BERT HELLINGER AND THE FIELD OF FEELINGS
Bert Hellinger brought to light the invisible influence of family dynamics on our lived experience. The energies, feelings, and unresolved issues of family members create repetitive patterns and imbalances that manifest across generations at the individual level. In systemic coaching, work involves recognizing these dynamics and promoting respect, acknowledgment, and rebalancing of family energies. Techniques such as representation, visualization, and deep listening help uncover hidden patterns and facilitate healing and integration processes
WORKING TOGETHER
An integrated approach for change
discover methodology and characteristics
Individual systemic coaching is thus conceived as a path of awareness and transformation that integrates various theories and methodologies:
Listening to internal parts (IFS):
to understand the client’s deep needs and emotions.
Developing conscious presence (Blay):
to maintain a compassionate, neutral observer state.
Exploring systemic dynamics (Hellinger):
to recognize and respect the invisible influences of family and social relationships.
The goal is to cultivate greater self-awareness, nurture inner harmony, and foster a mindset of autonomous and authentic decision-making. This holistic approach enables individuals to navigate daily challenges with increased clarity, equilibrium, and genuineness. By integrating growth across the mind, emotions, and relationships, it supports a comprehensive journey toward personal development and well-being.
An Integrated Approach to Change
Embarking on a journey of personal growth prompts the question: why choose systemic coaching over traditional methods? Here are some compelling reasons:
Deeper Self-Awareness
While traditional coaching focuses on goals and practical steps, systemic coaching helps you discover more about yourself. By exploring your inner parts, family background, and social influences, you gain a better understanding of what drives you and your automatic patterns. Techniques like role-playing and inner dialogues help uncover hidden conflicts, leading to a richer self-awareness and greater personal freedom.
Creating Lasting Change
This approach helps bring unconscious feelings and needs into your awareness. When you understand and accept emotions you’ve previously pushed away, you can manage them in healthy ways instead of ignoring them. Practices like staying present help keep your emotions steady, even during stressful times. This deep work sets the stage for genuine, lasting growth—not just quick fixes.
Handling Complex Challenges
Ideal for those looking for meaningful change, systemic coaching is great for working through tricky issues like relationship dynamics and family patterns. It encourages compassionate awareness of both your inner world and your relationships, recognizing how they influence each other. This holistic view helps you find balance, face challenges with clarity, and move forward with confidence and calm.
